This 2-day meeting was held in Hyderabad, India on April 19 and 20, 2024 and was organised by Professor Sanjay Sinha.
The meeting was dedicated to functional urology and the organisers included several neurourology topics in the programme. Helmut Madersbacher and Jalesh N Panicker represented INUS at the meeting and between them covered the following topics: An overview of Madersbacher’s Classification of Neurogenic Bladder and Recent advances in Neuro-urology (Helmut Madersbacher) and When should urologists suspect neuro-urological disease? and Nocturia in Neuro-urological disease? (Jalesh N Panicker)
There were several brainstorming sessions and Helmut Madersbacher was involved in the session on Practical tips for low-cost CIC and Jalesh N Panicker was involved in the session on Optimal strategies for public education regarding functional urology.
They both also participated in the session of Case Discussions in Neuro-urology and a light lively discussion in Candid Conversation with the Professors.
The meeting was well attended by urologists in India and Nepal, and received excellent feedback.
